Image taken from the webcam at the Hotel Marina . First time visitors to Oropesa del Mar, in Castellón Costa Azahar, will be pleasantly surprised by its varied coastline. As seen in this webcam. Oropesa has miles of beaches to the north, ideal for nautical sports, and the Bay of La Concha further on, with fine sand and a beautiful promenade. To the south lie the modern facilities of the sports Port, where the foothills of the sierra Oropesa reach the sea, forming a lovely landscape of cliffs and coves surrounded by Mediterranean woodland. Next to the coast, the ancient outline of the castle provides a good view of the small and picturesque town centre that has now expanded outwards into a pretty residential area. Imagen tomada desde la webcam del Hotel Marina . Al visitante que llega por primera vez a Oropesa del Mar, en Castellón Costa Azahar, le sorprende gratamente la variedad de su litoral. Desde esta webcam se puede corrobar dicha afirmación. Extensas playas al norte, ideales para practicar deportes náuticos, luego la bahía de la Concha, de fina arena y hermoso paseo marítimo, y ya al sur, tras las modernas instalaciones del puerto deportivo, las últimas estribaciones de la sierra de Oropesa se adentran en el mar formando un bello paisaje de acantilados y calas rodeadas de bosque mediterráneo. Junto a la costa, el antiguo trazado del castillo deja a sus pies un pequeño y pintoresco casco urbano que se extiende hasta la bonita zona residencial.
